It’s summer. I love food. We’re growing food and we have chickens pooping out food everyday (I mean eggs…. chickens are gross). That’s why I gathered my favorite food fonts and dingbats. How cute are all these creations? I’m pretty much in love with that Strawberry font, and both Kawaii food dingbats are so cute! Food with faces = adorable. Wednesday on the HP Create blog I shared my Ombre Air Plant Frame DIY! I love air plants. They’re hard to kill, not that I’m TRYing to kill them. I just forget to water the indoor plants. These plants just require a quick soak every few weeks. Works for me! I’m always looking for a new way to display these guys and that’s why I made this frame. I found this really neat thing on the Mother’s Niche blog: Washer Notes with a Dry Erase Pen. Such a great idea. My husband is awesome and he’s good at so many things, but he is crazy when it comes to doing the laundry. In the 12 years we’ve been together I’ve lost the following to laundry accidents:
– 5 wool sweaters shrunk to dog sweater size (I don’t know why I keep buying them)
– countless blouses
– 2 favorite jeans turned into capris
– so many dresses
I’m sure there’s more, but that’s all I can think of at the moment. It’s not really his fault, the real problem is I wash something and forget about it. I leave it in the washer, so the husband tosses the load of wash into the dryer to help. Dang. That’s why this whole dry erase thing is awesome. I tied up a dry erase pen next to the washer and when I’m washing any clothes that need special care, I can just write a note on the top of the actual machine! I can’t wait to see if this works (I’ll be sure to let you know).
Side note: if you love the wash jar that’s in the photo above, check out my homemade laundry and “WASH” jar tutorial. I’ve included a printable for you to print out the “WASH” and paint your own.

P.S. I recommend you use a nice quality dry erase marker for this. Maybe test a little line with the marker on the hidden spot of your washer and let it sit for a couple days, just to make sure the marker erases all the way.
I love a pretty dessert decoration. A few weeks ago I explored my garden and found a bunch of very lovely flowers and photographed them. I’m in love with this cute popcorn printable on the Persia Lou blog. These free printable popcorn box printables are perfect for your movie night. Just in case you’re wondering, she mentions that the “pipocas” on the sides of the bag means “popcorn” in Portuguese. Pretty sure I love that word “pipocas”, fun to say.
