The challenge: Take or find a photo of your baby (or kid… or puppy… or kitty) with just a hint of color. This week I’m encouraging you to work with photo editing programs. Don’t let it stress you out! Just play with it and have fun. I’ll include some links to some free editing programs (If you don’t already have one).

Edit 1: I just did a basic touch up edit here.

Edit 2: Then I added a black and white layer and set it to overlay.

Edit 3″ I added a solid blue color and set that to screen.

Ha! I’ve been browsing around, checking out Halloween costumes… just for fun. I’ve found some weird ones… which of course: are the best!!!

Ok, this one is not so weird… It’s just sort of creepy. Clowns have never been the same since the movie It. You can buy this vintage costume on Etsy (Trucks and Dolls):

3) My 499th and 501st followers!

So, I thought I’d introduce you all to my 500th follower… but, she doesn’t have a link when I click on her photo. 🙁   Soooooo, I’ll just introduce you all to the 2 ladies that were VERY close to be the fabulous number 500…

Wordless{ish} Wednesday: Hardwood floors.

{Since Ruari is crawling Mike and I decided to remove the area rug from our living room… the designer in me is saying, “No no! Now what will define our living space!” While the mom in me is saying, “Well, the rug just collected hair and dirt anyway. It’s easier this way.”}

{It’s so much easier without the area rug. With two cats and a dog, it’s hard to keep Ruari from eating every hair that collects. I can just run our Swiffer vacuum each morning and we’re good. Ahhhhh. Did I mention that I forgot how pretty our floors are? They’re 90 years old. How many babies have crawled on this floor? Hmmm…}

The Paper Mama Boutique

Yup, it’s official. We have a boutique. It’s all Ruari approved! ;D

As of right now… we’re still adding our favorite things, so it’s a little empty. But, we’re working on adding more right now.

My favorite section is the Halloween for Baby section! There’s a link for it in the left sidebar. We chose all our favorite Halloween costumes! I am so excited for the Halloween Holiday this year! Probably because we have a baby to torture dress up!
