Torie from Twenty Five Designs sent me a couple of her hair clips to try out for myself! They are so sweet and simple. I love them and seriously wear them ALL the time! (Please give Torie a visit on her personal blog: Life with Rylie!)

Why I love♥ it:
– So cute: I think they are just lovely!
– Color choices: MANY color choices to choose from.
– Stays in place: the clips I received are easy to put on and stay in place!
– Not too heavy: I don’t know about all of you… but, I’ve purchased some hair clips before that are VERY heavy and slip from my head. Her’s are VERY light!
– Quality: Very great quality!

– She’s VERY nice!

My only problem with them right now is that I only have 2…. I think I need some more! 😀

Wordless{ish} Wednesday: Ruari picks out her outfit (and, a little Vlog)

{On Tuesday my lovely friend, Kelsey @ K.B. Squared babysat my little Ruari for the day. WOW! Such a HUGE help! I seriously had so much to catch up on… order wise.. (see yesterday’s post to see how crazy good busy I am).}

{SOoooo… I thought Ruari should pick out her own outfit for the day… and she did! Well… she just pulled the first things she saw out of her drawer. I think it turned out pretty dang cute! Good job baby girl!}

{By the way: Kelsey said she really enjoyed Ruari and wants to watch her again! Score! ;D}

What I’ve been up to…

Happy Tuesday everyone! I have been so crazy/awesome busy with my shops and I just wanted to share with all of you what I’ve been up to… LOTS of blog banners…. tattooing babies… paper crowns… there are so many. I wont share ALL of them… but… here are a few:

Blog banners:

This is the blog banner and button I created for the lovely Wendy over at Letters to Hannah. It’s a combination of my drawings and some photoshop goodness. Please, give her cute little blog a visit! Hannah’s adorable!

Courtney over had Daily PawPrints requested a banner with the skyline of her city in it. I added her dog, Mack, to watch over the city.

Fiona from Letters to Littles wanted to update her blog header because her Letters to Little blog would soon be turning into a Letters to LittleS blog! Give her a visit.

Tattooed Baby:

I was lucky enough to tattoo little Piper (daughter to Amy) from Super-Piper-Callie-Docious. Say that 5 times fast! ;D Please, give her blog a visit! She’s a very talented photographer. (And, yup… I put a ton of watermarks all over her. I don’t want creepers to steal).

Paper Crown:

I made this crown for a fellow blogger to give to her friend… I don’t want to say her name just in case… for whatever reason… the bride-to-be might read my blog. I have no idea if she does or not… but, better safe than sorry! 😀 There is a title that is on the crown… but, I didn’t want to share that… just in case. 😀

LOTS of drawing…

Ever since I drew these and made this banner for Mandy at Harper’s Happenings:

I’ve had SO many requests for custom drawings. I have 3 custom drawing orders right now. I really need to say THANK YOU so much to Mandy! I hadn’t drawn anything since I was pregnant. Then she saw a couple of my drawings in my Etsy shop and wanted me to draw her and Miss Harper. Thanks Mandy!

AND…. I’m slowly (but, surely) finishing up the next grouping of blogs into my Paper Mama Blog Directory… I’ve had a LOT of positive feed back since I launched it a couple of weeks ago. Tara from Our Journey has said that she’s been found through my directory by people that are going through the same things that she has dealt with.

So… that’s what I’m up to… along with blogging of course! One more thing… I’ll be accepting new sponsors for the month of April soon! I’ll do a real blog post for that later.. but, just a heads up if you’re all interested!

Thanks again to everyone that is supporting my business! It’s always nice to be able to contribute to the family and help pay the bills! And, I’m getting closer and closer to my savings goal to go to BlogHer ’11. Yay!

GIVEAWAY: $50 Coupon to Sissy Little Wall Decals! {CLOSED}

One of my sponsors, Sissy Little, sent me a little gift to enjoy and review! 4 tree wall decals! I was so excited! I’ve been looking for something like this to put up in Ruari’s room!

More of my favorite from the shop:

Why I love♥ it:
– Quality: It’s made very well.
– Easier than painting something on the wall.
– Fast: It was more difficult than I expected to put up… but, it was fast.
– Looks great: It really looks great!
– Price: I have been looking at many wall decals lately… Sissy Little is cheaper than most I’ve seen!
– Color choices: They offer quite a wide variety of colors.
– Designs: Many cute and unique designs to choose from.
– Sample decal: They included a sample decal to test out before I tried out my large decals! It really did help!
– Easy to read/understand instructions: The instructions are written very well and include little drawings for examples.

Downsides:
– A little hard to put up: So… yes it was fast to put up… but, I expected a little bit easier. Maybe it was because my decals were so large.
– I’m not sure if it’s my wall… or the paint on my wall… but: there are a couple of tiny spot where the decal is coming off just a bit. I pressed them back on… but, I followed the directions completely. It may just be that my wall has quite a bit of texture to it.
– The colors are hard to see online: From the photos online I thought that the gray I chose would be just a bit lighter. It was pretty dark. I wish they had a larger sample section to view the colors.

Did a little thrifiting!

Ok… I’ve been working hard all weekend to try and finish Ruari’s room/my studio. I went thrifting about three times this past week… I spent about $40 total and got a TON of stuff!!!

This random little hand painted bust. It really matched my artwork.

I found this little vintage dress and sweet little sweater too. It’s going to be Ruari’s Easter outfit! I also found quite a few other pieces of clothing for her! All cheap.

This office/rolling chair was only $8! It’s very comfy! I love that it rolls. I do so much moving around while I work in my studio… it’s nice to be able to move in my chair!

Other goodies I found while thrifting…

– Chalkboard for Ruari

– Magazine wall rack for baby books

– A large basket for toys

– Many baby clothes

– Mommy clothes

– Photo frames

– Some Melamine teal teacups
– These sunglasses:

Both my mom and Mike think these sunglasses are ridiculous… But, I love them. 😀 $3!
