HA HA! Look what I did during Ruari’s nap time!!! We went and got some tattoos! Hee.
I do get a TON of e-mails asking for help with photos, which I LOVE to help! LOVE to! So, if you’d like me to do this to your photo I’d be MORE than happy to…. but, it does take me quite a bit of time so I’d have to charge. I did post a listing for this in my Paper Mama Etsy shop. It’s $45. But, for you lovely bloggers: $40. Just mention that you saw this on my blog in the checkout and I’ll reimburse you. (Don’t forget to mention this, or I wont know you get a discount!)
I also made a button of my tattooed babe! Ha! I really crack myself up!!!

Ok, on to this weeks Thursday’s Three… it is all about my family! I want to support their little businesses any way I can. Here we go…
Thursday’s Three: Family
2) Pepper and Farley: This is my Mom’s Etsy shop. She makes some very lovely nice quality purses, pouches, pendants, and a few other creations. In addition to her Etsy shop she also has a quilting business. This doesn’t mean she’ll MAKE the quilts for you… she let’s you do that part. She owns a GIANT quilting machine and freehands the stitching on your quilts for you with this machine. She’s very good and her pricing is great! She accepts quilts from any state (you pay for the shipping). If you are interested in getting your lovely quilt quilted before the holidays, hurry and contact her! Her time fills up quick! You can contact her through sending a conversation in her Etsy shop.
Here I am laying on a quilt made by Janis (my mom). If you go to a larger photo you can see all the detailed stitching. ๐
3) Spittin Toad: My cousin, Denise, runs this fun little shop. It’s full of her unique creations and I just love it. She has always encouraged me to be creative. I know that a lot of what I create today probably stems from the time I spent being crafty with her while growing up. She recently donated an item for a giveaway on my blog. (Athena Workman won!). Please check out her blog and her shop. Feel free to buy stuff too. ๐
I hope you do visit them and enjoy their shops!!! I do!

Sunday we spent most of the day outside, which Ruari really enjoyed! We’ve been having such sweet weather here in Portland… we filled up Ruari’s ducky tub and splashed around outside! And, of course Sophie the Giraffe HAD to be there too. She mostly just chewed on Sophie in the beginning until she realized she can splash. I guess our baths are usually so quick she hasn’t had a chance to figure it out. Now she’s a pro! It’s cute.

So, little Miss Laureli was born with a mark on her left cheek. At first the doctors just assumed it was baby acne and said that it would go away. A few weeks later, it didn’t change a bit and she still had the little mark.
As she grows the glands will grow with her. Getting larger as she grows older. I didn’t really notice it until I compared these photos: It has grown. The doctor said there is a 1% chance that it could turn cancerous as she gets older. Which brings us to… do we get it removed? Of course, this wouldn’t happen till after she’s 2 or 3… but, do we let her get old enough to decide? Or, do we just say: screw it! She’d want it removed. We decide!
The rundown:
It will get larger. There’s a very tiny chance it could turn cancerous. AND, let’s be honest: kid’s can be mean. I don’t want her to be teased about it. BUT, maybe she’d eventually feel that it is a part of her and she wouldn’t want it removed. Hmmmm… Oh, and yes I’d love to read your opinions. ๐
