Day 2 of my 50 DIY Days: Bob’s Burgers Costume Inspiration (for the ladies):
You don’t need to buy ready made costumes. Seriously. You can wander the internet and find all the perfect items needed to create the perfect costume. Today I did all the work for you! Do you love Bob’s Burgers? So do I. I’ve gathered all the supplies you’ll need to be your favorite Bob’s Burgers family member. These costumes are geared towards the ladies. I think my favorite is the Bob costume.
All you need to make a Bob costume:
- black mustache
- white apron
- light grey shirt
- dark grey skinny jeans
- black flats
- a pen for taking orders
- red framed chalkboard (for the burger of the day)
- spatula necklace charm
- hamburger handbag
All you need to be Linda:
- short black wig (that can part down the center at the bangs)
- red cat eye glasses with clear lenses (or buy these sunglasses and pop out the lenses)
- red long sleeve shirt
- high rise skinny jeans
- white chef’s apron
- yellow sneakers
- raccoon purse
- pretty burger ring
- and a pen!
You’ll need these items to be Tina:
- black bob wig
- yellow barrette
- black frame glasses
- butts necklace
- light blue t-shirt
- dark blue skirt
- knee high red strip socks
- unicorn ring
- black high top converse
- composition notebook purse/pouch (for the erotic friend fiction)
All you need to be Gene:
- Sasquatch mask
- yellow shirt
- blue shorts
- blue shorts
- piano wristlet
- microphone earrings
- plush burger bracelet
- white socks
- red converse shoes
The goodies you need to be Louise:
- pink bunny ears
- knife necklace
- key lime shift dress
- black Mary Jane flats
- cat butt coin purse
- bunny ears ring
- kuchi kopi stuffed pillow
Of course you don’t have to buy each and every item to make these costumes awesome, they’re all just suggestions. What I love about these costumes is you can wear most of these clothing and accessory items again, besides just Halloween (that’s awesome). Last year I actually dressed up as the lovely Linda. If I wasn’t pregnant I’d totally dress up as the lady version of Bob this year…
Happy Halloween!
– Chelsey

Love it!!! I made my Louise costume for Halloween last year. I found an awesome tutorial on how to make her pink bunny ears hat on youtube.

it was a life saver. Unfortunately not too many people knew who I was. It’s an awesome show! People need to watch!!
Thanks for the tutorial share! That’s great. I would have known who you were…. our costumes from last year would have worked great together.
Best ever! I shared this one with the whole family — great ideas from one of our favorite shows. 🙂
I love Bob’s Burgers! My friend & her family did this a couple years ago. They were so cute, I had to share. https://instagram.com/p/tqe4fgnt9S/

i bought my louise hat from that site and its good quality, still holding up a year later (and an unfortunate scary but quick loss) and the price!!! so so good.
i was louise last year and it was the best.
Thanks for the share! That would be another great option.
