Tried it: Perfectly Painted Nails with Glue
Another Pinterest goody. I originally found this idea here, but the blogger was doing this for the marbling nail effect. I just plain need help with the actual painting of the nails. Mostly, I just don’t paint my nails…. since the result usually looks like I was giving myself a manicure, while drunk. It’s that bad. Buuuuut, the Elmer’s glue on my fingers: magic.
It’s a simple process. I put a dab of glue near my cuticle and used a swab to “paint” the glue around my finger nail. If I got some glue on a nail, I would use a wet swab to wipe it off. Let that dry (dried in about 5 minutes), apply the nail polish, and let the polish dry completely. I waited about 15 minutes. Start to peel of the glue! Since the glue is water soluble, you could also wash your hands and use a wet swab to get the glue off.
Done! I will definitely be using this method again! Have you tried this?

Interesting! I don't paint my nails either. Because I DO DISHES! 🙂
You jus blew my mind. YAY! I have that exact same problem, and always end up scraping up the excess polish, and usually hurting myself in the process. I am totally trying this next week. Thanks!
