First, you’re welcome. Ha! The following is most simple way you can cook broccoli (well, maybe microwaving would be easier… boring). Anywho, it’s delicious! I’m not really a fan of cooking and this is so easy, I don’t mind making it at all (plus, garlic broccoli = yum). Here’s how I make it:
Ingredients:
– Broccoli
– 4 garlic cloves (minced)
– Olive oil
– Salt
– Pepper
Directions:
Set your oven to 400 degrees. Cut up your broccoli into similar sized pieces. In a bowl, toss your broccoli with some olive oil. Blend in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread your broccoli mixture onto a baking sheet (I suggest using a baking sheet that has sides). Put your mixture into the oven for 15 to 25 minutes. The time will all depend where you are and how “crispy” you’d like your broccoli. At around 15 minutes I take a few pieces out for my daughter, and around 22 – 25 minutes I take the whole thing out for my husband and I (since we like our baked broccoli a little more crispy).
That’s it! It’s just so simple to put together, and the actual cooking part takes no effort… you do have to open and close the oven. Ugh. BUT, it’s not that bad. Hee. The best part: my kiddo loves baked broccoli. She always asks for the “Garlic Broccoli”.
Happy Tuesday,

add some lemon, along with the parmesan already mentioned, and it's even better. i also roast it at 425 so it crisps up faster on the outside without over cooking on the inside.
oh, and i use garlic POWDER instead of fresh garlic, because that's just how i roll (i.e. lazily).
Ha ha! Love garlic powder. 😉
I'll definitely try out this simple recipe! Sounds yummy.
It is. 🙂
Made this tonight! Thanks so much for the idea. I hate waiting for the water to boil and then the broccoli to cook!
Making a note to try this sometime! My son loves broccoli ("little trees"), too.
Hee, little trees. 🙂
The only way we eat broccoli these days, soo good.
I love this way! I actually do this to almost all fall veggies. Carrots, potatoes, root veggies, etc.
Pretty much veggies + garlic and oil and heat = crazy good.

Yes!
Roasted Broccoli has forever changed my life!
Seriously!
Yep – this is my absolute FAVORITE way to cook pretty much any veggie, but definitely broccoli! 🙂
I love it with green beans too…. with little shreds of parmesan sprinkled on top. 🙂
I love roasted broccoli!! So yummy! Thanks for sharing how you make yours.
It's my fave.
YUM! Making this tonight. So obvious, and yet…
I always saute it with these ingredients, but this is sooo much easier. Yay!
Doooo it!
