My Heated Curl technique

Heated curl gif thepapermama.com

I’ve had a couple of lovely readers ask me how I would curl my hair if I didn’t plan ahead and do the No Heat Curl. SO, I recorded a little video clip for you. Most of it I’m sure you all probably know… but, I just give a couple of tips that help with my straight stubborn hair.

I only curl about 5 to 6 sections of my hair for this… so, it’s a really fast technique. The video is about 9 minutes long… but, before editing the video… the total time to talk/blab and curl my hair was about 17 minutes. Not too bad if you ask me. Hee.

That’s how I do it! I hope I was able to help you somehow! Or, maybe you have an even better technique? I’d love to hear. There are so many awesome ways to curl your hair. Happy Monday everyone!

Hi! I know I've been posting alot of questions, but I just need to get this straight. When you hold your curls off to cool off because of where you live, would you have to do that if you live in the northeast?

Hmm, I don't know. Never been over there. My hair is just super straight… holding it to cool means my curl will last longer. 🙂

if you have a cool shot setting on your blowdryer, you could use that to cool each curl after it's down, to speed up the process.

Your hair looks great! Mine is so thick and usually dead straight, but now it is a lil, ok a lot damaged, it is curling a bit. I like the look s went out and bought a curling iron, but have been a lil scared to use it. Now having seen how you do it, I will have to give it a go. Thanks so much for showing me 🙂

My favorite way to curl my hair lately is using a couple of twist braids, more of a beachy wave but I like it. And its so easy and quick to do.

I love that too. I have to do it overnight or all day for it to work on my hair. But, I love the result.

I us my straightener to curl my hair! My sister in law taught me how to do it and it works great! Instead of just pulling the straightener straight down your hair, you twist it slowly outward and through your hair. Did that make sense? Anyways it's great and your hair looks beautiful!

I've wanted to try the straightener curl. BUT, i've never owned a straightener. Ha! Never actually needed it. 🙂
