Simplicity blog design contest

Lovely Faith at Simplicity is having a little contest. She’d like to have her blog revamped, but doesn’t really have the time. She put out a contest for button designs. Ta da:

First, I wanted to keep it simple. I also wanted to use one of her floral photographs (since it is a photography blog). Some of my favorite photos from her are of flowers. This photo was especially sweet. I also made sure that any font or designs used I had a commercial license for. Eventually she would pay the winner, so I wouldn’t want to mess with any copyright issues. 🙂

I thought of possibly doing a border, and I had the font going another direction in a different design. This is the one that I ultimately decided on. Happy weekend everyone!
