This weeks challenge: A different view.
The challenge: The challenge will be based around your children. Take or find a photo of your baby (or kid… or puppy… or kitty) from a different view. Do you take photos from above looking down? Or, do you get down on the floor to the same level of your baby/pet? Do something different. Try it.

This weeks guest judge: ME!
This weeks challenge: Resolutions.
The challenge: The challenge will be based around your children. Take or find a photo of your baby (or kid… or puppy… or kitty) for this shot. It’s the new year! Is there anything your baby/puppy want to work on or improve for the new year? Potty training? Cartwheels?
First: Being What I Want to Be
Why I chose this photo: “I LOVE the lines of the photo. The little baby isn’t the focus of the shot… but, she’s there… interacting with the railing. Love it. I also love her resolution: Have patience with her baby, Ella, as she learning and growing. I should follow this too.”

On another note: I’ve been considering switching over to WordPress. I’ve had an account forever… but, the thought of moving my entire blog over there totally freaks me out. I know how to transfer all my past posts… etc… BUT, I couldn’t even figure out how to post up my Google Friend Connect. AND… then I have to consider all the people that have me in their feeds… Hmmm… maybe it’s not worth it.

Simplicity Photo Challenge: Food
AND
Pixel Perfect Before and After:
Shoot and Edit:
Edit: For this weeks edit Ashley stuck with a basic/simple edit. Since I had already done that with this photo previously… I just linked up the edit had already done. I can’t remember the exact details of my edit… but, I always adjust my Levels…. curves… run through Noiseware… sharpen if needed… So, I sort of have issues with with shadows. I’m uncomfortable with them. If there’s a lot of shadow I automatically feel the need to fix it. But, I didn’t. I’m ok with that!
Following Ashley’s edit: I pretty much followed Ashley’s second edit exactly. I really love how soft and sweet it turned out. AND: the shadows are not as harsh.
