Day 34 Holiday Decor: Faux Mercury Glass Vases DIY

Faux Mercury Glass Vases DIY

Day 34 of my 50 DIY Days: Faux Mercury Glass Vases DIY

This is a favorite DIY on my blog and I wanted to share it with you guys again. I made these vases back in 2012, and still use them. They are wonderful and could make great holiday table decoration, or add some flowers to give as a housewarming gift.

Supplies needed to create my Faux Mercury Glass Vases DIY:

  • Krylon Looking Glass Mirror-like Paint Spray
  • Spray bottle
  • White Vinegar and water mixture (1/2 water + half vinegar)
  • Paper towels
  • Drop cloth/paper
  • Respirator mask (safety first!)
  • Gloves (messy)
  • Optional: goggles (this spray sort of bugged my contacts, so I threw on some goggles)
