Wordless{ish} Wednesday: More reads.

Have you been reading? I have. I’ve been trying my best to get myself back into books. Before I had Ruari, I would read a book every week or two… and, I loved it. SO much. I’m not reading that much… but, I do manage to read a book every month or two. It’s definitely been my wind down time. Turn off everything, and read a book. On my iPad. Hee. I do love the smell of a real book (I’m a weird-o), but the iPad is perfect. It’s like a build in nightlight. All your books in one spot!

Anywho, I’d love to see what you’re reading! I like to keep my favorite reads up to date on Goodreads. If you want to be friends on there, just send a request! We can share favorite reads. My most recent good reads: Bright Young Things and Beautiful Days by, Anna Godbersen.

Happy Wednesday!

Ugh. I used to read so much before I had my youngest, but I just haven't had the time lately. Wait. I take that back. I made time for 50 Shades of Grey. Horrible writing. But still, at least I read something. lol

    See you soon, Chelsey! 🙂

Ha ha! I seem to like a lot of the books with horrible writing, but are very entertaining. 😉

I used to read much more frequently before kids. But in the last two years, I've managed to start reading again when I can … which is mostly in the car line waiting to pick the kids up from school. I'll have to check out the Goodreads site, thanks!

The site is great to keep my books organized! I'm so forgetful, i need a lot of help. 😉

I am a voracious reader. Really just about anything I can get my hands on. I use Shelfari to catalog everything I read. My favorite things I have read recently are Wild by Cheryl Strayed. About a woman who hikes the Pacific Crest Trail solo. And Gone Girl and Dark Places, both by Gillian Flynn. Both of those are serious mystery, who-done-it type books. Both very smart and very well written. I highly recommend all 3 of those books.

Thanks for the book suggestions! I'll check them out, and that Shelfari thing.

I recently read 8 books in 8 days. Internet outage. lol! My Goodreads yearly reading goal has been met and surpassed so I'm feeling pretty good about getting back into reading. It's something that college killed because there's so many things you have to read my brain didn't have much room for entertainment reading.

I am a huge reader too!! Can't have too many books on the nightstand and I also love my Nook. Just wish a girl had more time in the day to do everything she wants☺

Seriously. More time to do everything and more time to sleep!

Oh wow- that will sure keep you busy. I typically read books on politics. However because of the election coming up I'm feeling like I'm getting enough politics through the tv. I'm sticking to my magazines until the election is over-

I'm not in to Politics… I'm sort of on overload with the election. Ha!

The last time I really read a book was Christmas of 2010. I had received a few books for Christmas & read them all within a week. Lol. I haven't really been able to read books since my son was born three years ago. I don't know why. It makes me sad. 🙁

I love reading, so I can see how it's sad. I just read at night… a few pages. Helps me sleep. 🙂
