Wordless{ish} Wednesday: Oregon Coast

My sister and her new hubby should be back in New Zealand soon. They left Tuesday night (and, apparently it takes 5 billion gazillion trazillion years to get there) and are probably still flying. OMG.

Before they left, we managed to head down to the beach. The Oregon Coast is so beautiful… and, cannot be missed. We must visit it at least once a year (preferably more). This time we went to Lincoln City (Taft). We stayed at the Looking Glass Inn. Perfect for a quick one night stay… and, you can bring your pup.

Ahh! I can’t believe we’re getting to September in a couple days!

Happy Wednesday!

The only time I've ever seen any of the oceans was on the Oregon coast, near Tillamook. It was the first week of October, but managed to be sunny and in the mid-80s, so despite the frigid water, we still managed to get our feet wet. It was by far my favorite day of our two week trip to the PNW.

I love those random warm weekends at the coast. We went in February for my birthday a few times… and, managed to get sunshine and 65. But, I also love the Oregon Coast in the winter….

I spent my entire summer working on the Oregon coast this year. I lived in Bandon, but also worked in Newport and Tillamook. I was so in love with the Oregon coast, I didn't want to leave to come back home to the east coast. I hope to come back to Oregon again soon!

I hope you can make it. It's really lovely. My favorite part is the little bay in Taft.
