Ok, I don’t know if this was taken at Sear’s or not… I do remember heading to the mall a few times when I was little, all dressed up, and having to sit and pose for these photos. I wonder what Ruari will remember from the 1 million photos I’m taking of her?
We also have Olan Mills pictures and we live in the midwest..so I not sure where they started. I love this and your blog..I will have to follow : )
The cuteness!!! All of my old portrait style pictures (there aren't very many) have the tag "Olan Mills" on them. What the heck is Olan Mills? Maybe it was a California thing?
Oh man, we are definitely similar in age. I have mall photos where my dresses look exactly the same!! Smocked pink party dresses with ruffles and puffed sleeves. Haha, love it!

Ah, the Sears photos. My mom has many of these of us, only back then, we only ever had the choice of the ugly gray background! I consider them blackmail material!!!
