Day 26: Treat Yourself Sewn Paper Treat Bags

You guys. Thanksgiving is less than 20 days away. I love this holiday because you get a four-day vacation with the family and ALL of the food. Yum. Stuffing and gravy are pretty much my favorite part of the food portion, but dessert and pie also right up there (mmmm, apple pie). Since family will be gathering, I think it’s kind of nice to provide some sort of extra treat at each place setting. I made these really cute Treat Yourself Sewn Paper Treat Bags for the HP Create blog. I made a BUNCH of different printable treat bag shapes so you can make your own: triangles, diamonds, ovals, and hearts… all with different sayings, or blank (so you can add your own note).

Supplies you will need to create this project:

  • Printer
  • 5 x 11 vellum paper
  • Sewing machine
  • Colorful thread
  • Printable treat pack shapes (all printables are on the original post)
  • Candy

You can place the treat bags on each place setting. What if you added the name of the people coming over for Thanksgiving dinner to each treat bag? These could double as gifts and place markers! If you want to see the full tutorial and get the free printable images to make your own, head on over to the original post on the HP Create blog.

P.S. I’m a paid contributor on the HP Create blog. All printables are for personal use only. This is the 4th year for my 50 DIY Days.
