Holiday scents

In case you haven’t already figured it out…. I’m a bit crazy when it comes to Christmas. I LOOOOVE it so much. Always have. I didn’t think it was possible, but I am even MORE excited for this Christmas. My kiddo is turning 3 in December, and she’s at the age where she actually knows what’s going on (we can talk about her telling me I’m wrong allllll the time later, hee). Anywho, she keeps asking about Santa, and “When are we going to get a Christmas tree?” Gah! It’s so exciting.

The month’s of October to December are just my favorite. I love wearing fall clothes, I love the excitement, the sights, the music, and especially the smells. Oh, the smells. Apple pie. Gingerbread cookies. Warm coffee with family and friends. Pumpkin pie (even though I don’t like the taste of pumpkin pie, I do love that smell). Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Peppermint! Christmas trees! CINNAMON! Whoa. Calming down. Ok, I’m good.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving (yay, stuffing!!!! pie!!!). That means, Friday. Christmas is on. Me and Christmas, we will be inseparable through December 26th. I will require many appetizers, pies, pretty sparkly things, crafting, and coffee. Oh coffee, magical coffee. It has the power to bring friends and family together to chat and remember the past holidays. It warms your hands, and smells fantastic!

Coffee is sort of a requirement for the holidays. No joke. Stock up, and keep a variety on hand to share with holiday guests and bring to last minute holiday parties (you can even print out my hostess gift tag for this). Gift idea: A cute mug, a little stirring spoon,   Dunkin Donuts Mocha Mint coffee, and a candy cane. Cute.
