My Baby Girl has been melting down like crazy. It’s like she’s going through the “terrible two’s” already. When she melts down she’s a completely different baby. I don’t know who she is. She falls to the floor… does the slow cry… and screams, “Ma ma!”.
All it takes for a meltdown is: me walking by without picking her up… or, going to the bathroom, or the big one: telling her “no, don’t play with the electrical socket”. She falls to the ground and totally loses it.
Even when I’m changing her clothes/diaper she kicks and twists away. ::sigh:: Wear’s me out. I don’t even know what to do. Am I encouraging her when I pick her up when she cries? Am I “ruining” her if I don’t pick her up?
Wow. Well, I hope this “faze” doesn’t last for too long. It’s been a couple weeks. Hopefully 2 weeks is enough. Well, maybe I can find some way to parent this faze out. Have you all dealt with this?
