Hmm, it might not count as the Pacific Northwest, but Papa's Soul Food in Eugene is AMAZING. Each time I eat there I nearly drink my weight in sweet tea, and their hush puppies are delish. Also the fried chicken. And ribs. And everything. I hope I win!

Montage…oldie but goodie nonetheless! Any place I can still order a mad dog drink while noshing on some amazing food is alright by me!!

So many great places to eat, it's hard to choose!

I live right next to Screen Door (dangerous!) so that's always a favorite for brunch or dinner. Out of town friends always request food carts, and I always recommend The Frying Scotsman for fish and chips, and Herb's Mac and Cheese. Love Nicholas for Lebanese food too!

    I'd love to win tickets!

OMG. I would die if I lived next to Screen Door. Love me some good fried chicken.

I like the Lardos and their pasta shop. I also love the Tastys. But my favorite food is homemade with my local PNW CSA.

My favorite place to eat in the PNW? Wow!! Too many great dining destinations to choose just one, but high on my list – La Tarasca in Centralia, Washington. Family owned, always delicious, absolutely authentic. I have been known to drive 100 miles just to meet someone there for lunch!

In PDX, Meriwether's is pretty awesome.

We always stop in Centralia on the way up to Seattle. We'll have to try that place next time!

The Good Food Here food carts on 45th and Belmont. Herb's mac and cheese cart is soooo good, but there is always something yummy there! Now I'm hungry!

OOo! That's 2 picks for Herb's Mac and Cheese. I wonder if they have any gluten free options….

Mediterranean Kitchen, in Bellevue (there's one in Kirkland, too, but the Bellevue one is best). The food has been consistently delicious, with generous portions representing a wide range of Mediterranean food, for the 6 years I've been going there. Plus, the staff is fantastic and personable, and although it's a tiny place, it's always been worth the wait. And considering you're getting 3 meals worth of food, the price is fantastic. It's the only restaurant IN MY LIFE where I always order the same thing (Lamb Shawarma) because it's so good.

Sorry, Bellevue, WA (eastside of Seattle)

I think mine changes really frequently but right now it's Marrakesh (one in Portland and Seattle!) just because it's a super fun place to go to with friend and the food is delicious! Especially entertaining if you go during the belly dancing!

My favorite place to eat – not to mention where I take everyone when they come to visit is Pine State Biscuits. I just think the price point is good, you can get something for everyone (not just biscuits!) and uhh, it's freakin delicious!
The biscuits are on point and their sweet tea is to die for.

I was reading the comments above and I love Lardo, but I never go to Lardo East, just the one downtown. I need to go to their other location to get better seating and people watch 🙂

I'd love to win tickets to the event!

Mmmm so many great restaurants in the PNW. I would have to say the Herb Farm is still #1 in my book.

The Herb Farm is very expensive, but also amazingly unique and delicious, and every experience there is different than the last. If you get the chance, I also recommend it.

Oh man. That's on my list! Maybe for my birthday in Feb?

My favorite place to eat in the PNW is Papa's Food Truck (http://www.papasplace671.com/) in Port Orchard, WA. They serve Chamorro food, the food from my tropical island home, and I love how every order is rich and warm and brings me the comforts of my Pacific island roots while I'm here in the Pacific Northwest.

    • The Paper Mama on said:

Ok, I'll need to remember that the next time I'm up there!

  • Ashley on said:

favorite date night: Lardo East (great food, amazing drinks, perfect outside seating with people watching!)
    favorite brunch: Broder
