I don’t get it. A shooting at a mall in Oregon today. This killed two people. It makes me so sad. Why?

I don't get it either. I was glued to the TV all day. I live in Sandy, only a half hour away, and my sister lives only a couple blocks from the mall. I know so many people that were in the mall when this happened. I even know some people who went to school with the shooter. It's so hard to 'get back to normal' you know? I love that mall. I grew up in that mall. It's just.. I don't know.. unbelievable.
It makes me so angry that we make guns available to people who shouldn't have them — though I hear he stole his assault rifle from a friend — why was it not locked up?!?! — AND we CUT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES so that people can't get the care they need. It's so ridiculous. I am so sad for this country.
So so sad! Guess there's some crazies out there! 🙁
